I am in the process of writing the first draft of my first Young Adult Fiction novel. I began it in September of 2015, but have had the idea since around 2011. The book is at 40,000 words at the moment, and is 2/3 of the way complete regarding the planned plot. When I go back and include all the edits that I intend to, I plan for the book to be around 80,000 words long.
